CalAg Permits

New Online Pesticide Use Reporting Program effective October 10, 2011

The Sonoma County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office will begin to transition to a new statewide online pesticide permitting and reporting program called CalAg Permits at noon on Friday October 7th and will go live on Monday October 10th. The current electronic Pesticide Use Reporting system will not be available during this time.

Previous and new online users will need to contact our office for a new temporary password before logging into CalAg Permits. You can email us at sonomaag@sonoma-county.org to obtain one. In the email subject line please place “CalAg Permit login”. In the body of the text include: your name, phone number, permit name and number and email address.

The electronic pesticide reporting function will basically remain the same but with a slightly different look.

Other new features of this web based program are that it gives growers the ability to view their permits and site maps online and also submit Notices of Intent (NOI).

If you have not tried reporting your pesticide use online, we highly encourage you to try it.

On October 10th, a link to CalAg Permits as well as a public web user guide will be on our website at http://www.sonoma-county.org/agcomm.

We are very excited to bring this service and technology to the agricultural industry.
