YOUR EMPLOYEE'S RESPONSIBILITIES
- Your employee is not required to tell you that he or she owes child
support
- It is your employee's responsibility, not yours, to notify the child
support enforcement agency if he or she disagrees or finds fault with
the terms of the withholding order/notice that you receive.
- Even if your employee tells you that the withholding order/notice
is wrong, or that you are withholding the wrong amount, it is his or
her responsibility to straighten out the disagreement with the child
support enforcement agency.
