Outreach and Education

What is child support? What do we do in our office? How does it affect you? These are some of the questions we address through our Outreach and Education Program.

Our staff is available to make presentations to your community group or agency on topics related to child support issues. If you are an employer, give us a call, we'd be glad to set up a presentation at your workplace.

School Programs

Our program for High School aged kids presents them with some of the financial and social realities of early parenthood. It is presented in a non-judgmental way and encourages audience participation. We have been pleased with the very positive responses we've received from faculty and students.

Legal Programs

Our administrative staff and attorneys are available to make presentations to community organizations concerning child support programs, policy, legislation, and legal topics. Programs can be tailored to the needs of the particular organization.

There are issues for which our office cannot provide assistance such as custody and visitation. In addition, our office is not able to assist with issues of immigration status and does not provide information regarding criminal cases. When issues arise that are outside the scope of the work we do in our office, we provide resources and referrals to the client.
