Sonoma County Water Conservation Project

The Sonoma County Regional Parks Department, in cooperation with the City of Santa Rosa and the Sonoma County Water Agency, is working on a water conservation project aimed at educating the public on the issue of water conservation and practical applications to address this issue. The project is divided into three phases, which began in 2006.

Phase 1 – Administration Building and Demonstration Garden

The first phase of this project began in summer 2006 and was completed in 2007.

Phase 2 - Human Services, PRMD and ISD Buildings

The second phase of the project began in spring 2008, and focuses on the Human Services, PRMD, and ISD Buildings. Estimated phase completion is 2010.

Phase 3 - Fiscal Building, Hall of Justice, and Sheriff's Building

The third and final phase of the project is scheduled to begin in 2010 and will include the Fiscal Building, Hall of Justice and some adjustments to the Sheriff’s Building.
