Sonoma County to host Apostille Pop-up Shop event
The Sonoma County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor’s Office is hosting the California Secretary of State for an Apostille Pop-up Shop on Thursday, July 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its offices located at 585 Fiscal Drive, Room 103, in Santa Rosa. Read full story

Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport to undergo triennial training exercise
On June 17 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport (STS) will be hosting its 2025 Triennial Full-Scale Emergency Exercise to test the Airport Emergency Plan and assess readiness for a major incident. Mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration, the Triennial is a practical exercise and safety training that takes place every three years at commercial service airports around the United States. The exercise simulates a large-scale aircraft incident, testing the planning, operational readiness, speed and effectiveness of emergency personnel across multiple agencies in real-time. Board of Supervisors adopts budget for 2025-26 fiscal year
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors today voted unanimously to adopt a balanced budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year beginning July 1 but warned that it may need to adjust spending if the federal or state government cut funding for County programs later this year. Read full story

Public hearings on 2025-2026 Sonoma County budget to begin June 10
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will hold its annual budget hearings on Tuesday, June 10 at 9 a.m. Public comment is welcome at the opening of the hearings, which may continue June 11 and 13 if needed. At the conclusion, the board will adopt a spending plan for the 2025-2026 fiscal year beginning July 1. Read full story
