Ebola Disease Outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the ongoing Ebola Bundibugyo virus disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on May 17, 2026. Measles in California
As of January 23, 2026, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports 2,255 confirmed measles cases in the U.S. for the year 2025, the highest annual total since measles was declared eliminated in 2000, and 416 confirmed cases in 2026 to date. Read full story
